What does AQai meausre?

The AQ Model® Sub-Dimensions

The AQ Model® Sub-Dimensions

 AQ, or Adaptability Quotient, is a holistic measure of workplace adaptability. The higher your AQ, the more likely you will be able to recover from setbacks, find alternative solutions to problems and embrace change. AQ is measured across three key core dimensions: 


  • Ability How and to what degree do I adapt?
  • Character Who adapts and why?
  • Environment When do I adapt, and to what degree?


There 15 sub-dimensions of each core dimension used to assess each component of adaptability.


The AQai assessment is completed using artificial intelligence by a bot named Aida. Once completed, each respondent receives their own personal dashboard and report. 


Build on individual assessments by creating team reports which provide a high-level view of the adaptability of each person and the team as a whole.

  • Resilience The capacity to recover quickly from set-backs.
  • Unlearn Ability to unlearn previous knowledge and learn new data.
  • Emotional Range Extent to experience emotions based on environmental situations.
  • Extraversion How to seek the company of others when experiencing change.
  • Hope Mindset to pursue goals and the ability to create alternative ways to reach them.
  • Motivation Style How employees motivate themselves when navigating change.
  • Thinking Style How one views, categorizes, and processes information in the work environment.
  • Company Support General perception of how the organization values ones wellbeing.
  • Emotional Health Degree in which individuals are thriving at work.
  • Team Support Extent to which employees feel they can share knowledge and are supported. 
  • Work Environment How your organization facilitates and encourages change.
  • Work Stress Sense of general overwork and overwhelm within your organization.
